A note to jump this thread to top of current topics but will however include a serious point:
FGR's security officer, a recently retired policeman, has told me that it is almost certain that the Supporter's Coach will be stopped and inspected by police officers at least once before the end of season.
This is apparently normal procedure towards all EFL supporter's coaches.
The police will be looking to see if there is any prohibited alcohol on-board.
If they find any there could be a serious fine for perpetrator and the coach would be sent back to Gloucestershire.
So please to all those booking seats remember not to bring alcohol with you. There is always plenty to drink at the opponent's ground.

ps I'm pretty sure all of our regular travellers happily obey this legal requirement, so I apologise to them for reminder.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
