Tickets for Cheltenham

Postby king giraffe III » Sat Nov 04, 2017 7:12 pm

Trying to buy tickets for the Cheltenham match but can't do so as I have a Cheltenham postcode. Apparently that makes me an away fan.

Can anyone help sort this out for me?

If you phone up and book, you will be on the system having bought tickets previously for FGR matches.

Not sure if it's worth Cheltenham coming after their performance today.

My problem there is that it's a miracle if I have the opportunity to make a telephone call between 9 and 3.

New telephone lines installed last week and more help in the office to take calls.

I too have struggled to have phone calls answered in the past, but it should be an improved service in the future. Good Luck!

Having an SN postcode, I had a similar problem with the Swindon match, but I phoned the office and it was soon sorted.

My point is that I simply won't have opportunity to call during the ticketing hours. I don't have access to a phone at those times.

I'll have to try and get a relative to buy them on my behalf.

It's a poor show that postcode alone is the be all and end all when it comes to buying tickets online.

This is still an issue I have a Stroud address and it says that it's an away address.. Even though on my account it has my season ticket purchases and cup match tickets. Bit of a joke as it means I'll have to get to the club early tomorrow now. Sort it out.

I am having the same problem absolute farce I like King Giraffe cannot access a telephone at those restrictive times and who thought this nonsense up both clubs have support across the county and Cotswolds. It doesn't require a brain surgeon to work it out please admin sort this farce out.

An update on ticketing for Saturday's game against Cheltenham...

https://www.forestgreenroversfc.com/new ... el-glosico

Headlines:

- Less than 150 seats left. If you want one I'd get in there early.
- Reception hours extended tomorrow until 7pm to allow fans to pop up to the club after work to buy tickets. This is to aid fans who have struggled to get through on the phone this week. We wanted to make sure everyone had a fair chance to buy tickets.
Following the black & white stripes of Newcastle United and Forest Green Rovers since the 90's...

FGR have got all modern! Follow the club on twitter @FGRFC_Official or 'like' us on Facebook :D

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
