Yes it's a home tie, we need to get our revenge over the Grecians and the gate should be well over 2000.

If there's a voucher in the programme to give preference for tickets for a potential 3rd round tie against a Premier League club, we should get over 3000 through the turnstiles as in the league match.

Hard game, at least we are at home and unlikely to be picked for the telly so it should be a Saturday afternoon game.

I’m glad we are at home and will almost certainly be on a Saturday. Exeter are not in such good form as when they thrashed us earlier and we are harder to beat now so it’s winnable if we ‘turn up’ and play at our best. There is certainly incentive enough to do so.

Could've been worse but I was hoping for a whole lot better.
I had my eye on Boreham Wood away when they got down to the last few balls!

Hoping we'll give them a much better game than in the league. An opportunity to see how we've moved on - and nothing to lose, everything to gain.

I suspect this might be played on the Sunday so don’t get your hopes up of a shoe in Saturday.

Secondly I hope the club does market this tie in a proactive manner to encourage fans to support the management and players. There are so many ways of doing it. Getting the FA Cup down in run up is an option if you put in for it now.

Promote it as a West Country derby and look back to our previous FA Cup encounters.

The ambition must be 3000 minimum especially if it is a Sunday. Always was a better day to play in the past.

Obviously not everything in our own control but we should be pushing some buttons ASAP.

To clarify my previous post- of 20 ties in Rd2 a minimum of 8 will be moved to the Sunday as part of the broadcast contract with BBC TV.

Plus others will be chosen for LIVE viewing other than the Saturday.

Home draw is good, play well and we've got a chance.

Remember playing Exeter in the FA Cup at The Lawn, it was live on TV and they had Uri Gellar there supporting them.

Finished 0-0, scrappy game but we had some decent chances inc Odejayi hitting the woodwork I think, but we lost the replay 2-1.

Good draw. We are improving and they are declining! So winnable.

Whatever the outcome should be a bumper crowd and great atmosphere, just what the cup is about.

Good draw. the last Exeter FA Cup match was a mid day kick off on a Sunday. It eased parking issues in Nailsworth because it wasn't a shopping day.

I also remember the police motorcyclists taking control of the A46 roundabout after the game to stop traffic a get the cars away from Spring Hill. It was a good day.

Good idea on the program voucher or even keep your ticket from the Exeter game?

Looking forward to it. But more important games to focus in before that.

That makes me feel a bit better.
I'm always very positive but heart sank when Exeter was drawn out.
Maybe because I've only watched us play 3 times and the only time we lost we were playing them.

I was hoping for non-league opponents next round but hopefully we'll get our revenge.

The king of pop Michael Jackson was also a director, but he did not turn up.

I remember playing them away, and they had massive fixtures posters everywhere as the next game they played was Man U, maybe our turn?

Conspicuous by his absence. He must be guilty.

Just come in after evening out and put on recording.
Yep I had to double take when I saw my own image.
And it was only there because FGR won on Saturday.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
