It will be interesting to see how much he gets to play for them.

It's a very long time since Forest Green Rovers played Chepstow Town.

Sinclair couldn't hit a barn door for us, but doesn't seem to stop scoring for Oxford City. Weird.

Elliott Frear scored for Motherwell today, against Celtic, unfortunately his team were on the end of a bit of a thrashing.

It is. It wasn't because he played particularly deep at FGR. Maybe its a confidence thing? He just didn't make many attempts with us. Glad he is doing well at Oxford City though.

One that slipped under the radar.

Curtis Tilt has been an ever present lynch pin in Blackpool's League 1 defence so far this season. Full page article in today's Football League Paper.

And also a full page article in The Non League Paper from James Norwood. Two former players with different trajectories.

Good luck to both of them.

You always knew Tilt had it in him-and was very surprised MC did not play him more.

I guess we are all hoping that Monthe develops similarly.

frankly-for me-Tilt is /was better-but i think Monthe is about 4 years younger-so has a decent chance of emulating Tilt
Monthe-definitely still only a work in progress though ,and a long way to go -but has a chance

Delighted to see Curtis Tilt progressing well. He was excellent for us after a nightmare first couple of games and he will always be able to highlight his part in the historic Wembley win

But Manny has beef on his side as well as talent. Most of our centre backs are as muscular as a lamp standard and Tilt is wafer thin. Manny is the full protein alternative necessary to match the likes of Akinfenwa and did so when he came on as sub after 3 early goals went in (aided by the referees tolerance of Akinfenwa's tactics). Sure he makes the odd mistake but Coops wants him to be cavalier and you do not improve by being cautious

Let's bring him back in January even if it's on loan until the end of the season !!

He's been injured a lot of this season. He has just recovered and has been playing in their Under 23/Development team recently. He was also on the subs bench on Saturday so I think he will get selected soon. Barnsley are struggling though so it won't be easy for him.

Hi
After Wednesdays match the Motherwell boss said "Bar Elliott Frear and the forwards, I could have taken them all off at half-time."

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
