True Tim, true. But we can spend all our lives striving for the next 'big thing,' without taking enough time to celebrate what we've achieved. I'd prefer to forget the challenges ahead just for one night! All the best Tim!
Just returned to the forum after a week's absence...'trouble up at mill', as we used to say in the north to describe the kind of dialogue has emerged in several of the current threads. It doesn't make for happy reading!
2017 has been a year of contrasts with the high of promotion and the low of our faltering start to life in the football league. The end of last season was epic, the first half of this one a disappointment, though I for one am still enjoying the tough challenges of playing in the EFL. Hopefully history will focus on May rather than the turbulent times of recent months.
I wish everyone who supports FGR a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. Let's hope our new player acquisitions will be a catalyst for a turnaround in our form. It's certainly going to be an uphill struggle, but I for one am confident we will still be playing in league division 2 in August.

Happy New Year. Back to work today and back to footy. God I felt bad this morning but good tonight. Quite an entertaining last 30 mins on the TV game as well.
