Early December 32 goals scored - much better scoring rate than earlier in the season....and we are still in two cup competitions

I think we are headed for a goal total in the 70s

71 Old Tom Cat
73 Fartvs Antiqvvs
74 Freddy
76 Urban Spaceman
77 silver surfer

Are we counting the Checkatrade competition in this?

Yes, we count all goals apart from friendlies and the County Cup.

I usually use Lady Magpie’s site as the ‘official tally’ but she does not appear to be recording goals this season

One more down at Exeter in the FAC making 33 and FGR scorer rankings have never been so dominated by one player:

Christian Doidge - 16

Omar Bugiel - 3
Reece Brown - 3
Keanu Marsh-Brown - 2
Scott Laird - 2
Charlie Cooper - 1
Liam Noble - 1
Dan Wishart - 1
Luke James - 1
Shamir Mullings - 1
Jordan Stevens - 1
Alex Iacovitti - 1

35 scored - well over half the season gone...so we are looking at upper 60s unless the goals start coming

62 Greeners Jnr
63 linfield
64 redunited
69 Roy of the Rovers
71 Old Tom Cat
73 Fartvs Antiqvvs
74 Freddy
76 Urban Spaceman

Of course that was the total quite often in the Conference years

2010 58 ( a lean year, but Greenjohn and bigsav were spot on)
2011 55 ( another poor year but Freddy and Titch both one out)
2012 67 ( Timb spot on, Titch one out again)
2013 73 ( Foggy and Linfield spot on)
2016 73 (Greenjohn won this for the 3rd time - his 72 was the only prediction under 80)

Another month 43 scored including 33 in League 2.

With our goalscorers managing to shoot and hit the target more, a final total in the 60s looks likely.

57 scored including 47 in the league

So a total in the upper sixties looks likely- as with ‘league position’ Roy of the Rovers is a hot favourite.

59 scored, 4 to play.

So unless either Chesterfield of Grimsby roll over, we will score a total in the 60's - the winner will come from:

62 Greeners Jnr
63 linfield
64 redunited
69 Roy of the Rover

63

Chesterfield didn't roll over but we upped our goals scored ( and reduced the difference).

Roy or the Rovers could be in for some money.....little compensation for a very trying end of season for him :x

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
