Hi
Given the current problems between jct 3 on the M5 and jct 9 on the M6 I would certainly allow 2hrs from the last PU at Stonhouse.

Must admit I was all ready to book a seat until I saw the departure time .............. didn't we leave at that time to get to Crewe ??
Leaving TNL at 10 there's every chance we'll be at Walsall's ground by 12.00 ........... what a fun packed 3 hour wait that will be  ;)

I assumed the 3 hours quoted was the "round trip" time not one way !

Hi
Add at least 10 mins for the 2 intermediate stops before M5. lots of 30mph max plus a maximum of 40mph before the M5.
Limiter at 56 on the M5/M6, Likely speed of under 40 through M5 jct 3 to M6 jct 9.

Have re-planned my route to Walsall. M5 to junction 6 at Worcester then A449 to Wolverhampton, only 7 miles then to Walsall.

Evening all,

The time stated in the story is for the round-trip from ground to ground, as it was last season in these stories, so approximately 3 hours round trip.

The coach departure times were what we were initially given, but these have since been updated by KB coaches this evening. So the departure times are as follows...

The New Lawn, Nailsworth – 11.40am

Sainsbury’s, Dudbridge – 11.50am

Brunel Way, Stonehouse – Midday

Hi

If you click where it says Schedule Explorer it also gives train from Stroud alternatives.
So cost wise it depends if you have a NOW card to use to get to Gloucester or a railcard.

Bescot Stadium station (on a local line from Birmingham New Street) is literally a stone's throw from the stadium.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
