I wish him well.

Yes some mixed reactions on social media:

“Doidge I thought was promising. Bit unlucky with his chances and he improved the team. Kamberi looks sharp and up for it too”

“There are some s**** strikers that this applies to, but he [Christian Doidge] looks to be on a whole other level. Might still come good/effective á la Cosgrove, but he just looks so scared of the crowd."

“His misses were dreadful but many will forget his assist for Allan’s goal, a first time thing of beauty."

“For those saying release Doidge or this or that we have money, be realistic we've signed ample players & had to spend money to get them in the first place and the wages on top. Stop being so stupid, looking for a reaction, We got a win all that matters, want more of them."

He’ll come good I think

Gloucester City v Hereford this evening.
Jared Hodgkiss playing for Hereford, and Reece Styche on the bench.
Fabien Robert starts for Gloucester.

Blasts from the past!

As Ash pointed out below, Keiffer Moore has been sold on by Barnsley to Wigan. Do we get another slice of his latest transfer fee?

Hi
Kieffer got on in the 26th min and had 2 attempts 1 saved and 1 missed, also noted as giving a few free kicks away but they didn't result in Preston's goals.

Interesting EFL round up on TV. Pinnock highlighted for his mistakes, Archibold with an absolutely sumptuous goal.

Doidge starts vs Rangers. The sort of game he was looking forward too I guess. But it’s not going well - 2-0 down already and he’s been booked....

Not going to be easy up there at a much higher level without a midfield with people like Reece Brown feeding him chances.

Managed to watch the Rangers v Hibs game today and have to say Doidge looked out of his depth. Has struggled in a few games. He does get reasonable supply but he is up against strong defenders. Still he managed to play in front of 50000 today. I wish him well but it might be a tough season for him - he lost 6.1 today but Hibs were down to 10 men for the last 30 minutes. Vegan Jermaine Defoe got a hat trick.

Sure he struggled and also some of the fans gave him stick on social media, not as easy as what people think regarding the Scottish Premiership

Shamir Mullings and a group of ex-Macclesfield players (Elliott Durrell, Rhys Taylor, Jamie Grimes, Ryan Lloyd and Keith Lowe) are seeking a Winding Up Order against the Club in their pursuit of unpaid wages. They are being condemned for their action but who can blame them?

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
