In earlier post you had a 0-2 forecast which would have gained you an extra point if no scorer.
In this post you've not included a nominated goalscorer.

It was a long weekend OTC, forgotten i had already posted!

Please may i stick with the 2-1 loss - Collins to score - ta.

Yep, already noted on spreadsheet.
And I will also be adding a Joker to my forecast.
Good luck to both of us.

However, as others have said, difficult to know given uncertainty of team selection. However, Charlton U-23's were pretty strong last year. Can imagine it would be difficult to hold our own against them, so if first team involved as well.....

Are Jokers allowed for this one? In which case Joker and loss but would be ABSOLUTELY delighted to be proved wrong.

3-0 to Charlton.

Hmmmm.... ye of little faith

I ha da feeling I'd end up regretting playing that joker

COTY :D :D :D :D :D
My mileage; yours may vary, of course.....

To those who predicted a big loss tonight......
Or a medium loss.........
Or even a small loss.......

Where was your faith and belief?

Please don't lose it.

Fair comment. The youngsters played really well. Charlton played their second team but we only had 4 first teamers from our first two games and we matched them for much of the game. It was the best we have played this season and that’s very promising

Competition rules is that result is taken from score at end of normal time.
Alas therefore goals scored in penalty shootout do not count.

Well done to the five who forecast a draw and I bet they are all chuffed that FGR won penalties to proceed into next round [as we all are] :D

After predicting a 3-1 loss with my head, I’m reverting back to my heart like I did in every game last year !!!!

The penalties were the best I have ever seen from FGR, all were powerful and not softly placed.

Another fantastic game to remember, especially with the emotion and noise from our supporters.

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
