Thanks for link.
I Googled 'Harry & Gav' and Google was unfriendly, thus reason for more info.

What on earth has this got to do with us or anything else. Shall I start a thread with "Toni has a bad leg", Toni being my Brothers Jack Russell dog.

LM

who specifically is 'us ' who you claim to represent ?

perhaps you would like to define what does and does not get your /'us' approval ?

if anyone is interested they can post.
if not -they can ignore and most probably will.
(i am not a 'like' collector )

when is general chat-not general chat ?

how specifically do you define general ?

why is it not appropriate to discuss billericay in september when it was in summer ?
why did you not make the same comment then to any of the 19 posts in that thread ?

what is the difference between an ex player having a change of manager at huddersfield in the month of september and an ex player/teammate from the same season having a change of manager at a different club 6 days later ?

why is it appropriate general chat to discuss matt rhead being at the same club but not the manager both rhead and gav signed for ?

why is it more appropriate to discuss cricket at headingly under this 'board' (which is fine by me and falls within my personal 'general' definition,) than a football topic effecting a recent ex player ?

quiz question : name another ex FGR player who Harry signed in the last 9 months ?

I think where LM is coming from is the original text was very vague consequently irrelevant to 99% of forum users. My initial thought trying to work it out was does he mean Harry McGuire, Harry Redknapp or perhaps Prince Harry. I know not of any other Harry's.

Much like a post on Facebook when someone posts 'Oh No - off to A&E I go' with no elaboration leaving everyone wondering what is going on.

Not criticism from me just an observation.

fair observation.

if i did not know and trust myself better-i would almost think the headline was deliberate to see what reaction it would bring .

that given-and coming back to the questions in my earlier thread is there a ruling that headlines have to be constructed in a certain way.

Does the media sometimes put copy under headlines that are open ended ?

anyway, now we have agreed that Harry Wheeler has been dismissed by Billericay ,and one wonders what Gavin Gunning who he signed makes of that.and that Harry also signed Dan Wishart at his previous absolutely disastrous failure (sorry-i mean club ),who is the other ex FGR player who is a current team mate of Dan Wishart ?

(I would have been tempted to go to maidstone v billericay just to witness the reception HW would have received -he is not exactly a fans favourite .

I'd not read too much into it. Surely not impossible he'll be reappointed soon. Tamplin is nothing if not predictable in his unpredictability. (As a native of Dagenham I am glad he never got his grubby mitts on the local team there, as he attempted to, before being told to sling his hook). "Differences of opinion" - mostly over whether Tamplin Jr could kick a ball sufficiently to be in the team

The Riccay: more a soap opera (and warning against numerous character traits and actions, some legal, many not) than a proper footy team.

yep -spot on there

Billericay football club-the gift that keeps on giving .

after headlining with Harry's Out ,i was tempted to put out a new thread with Glen Goes but instead i congratulate myself on excercising remarkable self control to be less annoying than usual, and avoid further wrath

The ironic thing to me is that he has actually left the club in much better shape and in particular the ground.
He had a unique approach ,but i quite like his style, and despite everything-as i say-the club are in good shape thanks to Mr Tamplin.

(answer to my second quiz question in this thread is Clovis Kamdjo is Wisharts current ex fgr team mate )

Surreal quality about our forum when everyone is on form. No interest in Billericay despite Big Gav, but loved the posts!

He didn't play last Saturday and has followed another couple of departures from Harry's ex club

My guess is he'll play for his new club, Solihull against Stockport County tonight

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
