'I'm sad to say we must be on our way
We're going to the Premier League and you're standing in our way!'

'I'd like to think I'll be returning when I can'

'to the village of Forest Green where it all began'?
'to a place called Forest Green where it all began'?
'to The New Lawn in Forest green where it all began'?

Surely you could rhyme ‘began’ with ‘vegan’ in one of those lines......

For your team, how about:

'I'm so excited', and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it?

Or perhaps in this case 'loose con-TROLL'. ;)
Quo tendimus?

It did come to mind...

'I'd like to think I'll be turning vegan when i can'?
'Don't forget at halftime to try the vegan Spam'?

'Vindaloo' by Fat Les but instead of Vindaloo we sing Celery

Easy to learn, football pedigree, 100% vegan ;)

Way aye, that's Newcastle's entrance. (Mark Knopfler being the 'local hero' - and genius). Stirring stuff at full volume and no mistake.

As norton boy and myself suggested last time this came up, has to be "swords of a thousand men" by tenpole tudor. No contest.

+1 and somewhere on this forum are the suggested alternative words.

I’ll have to see if I can find them. Edit Now found them on this thread:-

About FGR

We’re a club that looks to the future, but our identity is forged from a rich 128-year history. Founded in 1889, we’re one of the oldest football clubs in the world.

In 2017, we were promoted to the Football League for the first time in our history – which means we can spread our sustainability message to an even bigger audience. FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. That’s quite an accolade, and it shows how we’ve been able to bring together football and environmental consciousness at the highest levels of the game.
